the executive board of Bnai
Brith Women at the organ-
ization's internationl bi-
ennial convention in Wash-
ington, D.C.
A member of the 120,000
member Jewish women's
service organization for
nearly 25 years, Mrs. Ellis
has served in a number of
leadership roles in the
Midwest Region including
chairman of the regional
board, consultants chair-
man, and conference pro-
gram chairman and was a
member of the board of
former District 6.
Since 1972, she has been
chairman of the Michigan
Region Bnai Brith Youth
Organization board, is a
member of the board of gov-
ernors of the Hillel Founda-
tion at Wayne State Uni-
versity and is a board
member of the Michigan
Region Anti-Defamation
League. Nationally, she
served as BBW Adult
Jewish Education Chair-
man.
