Michael Novak, head of the U.S. delegation, brought up the Wallenberg case during a debate in the Human Rights Commission on persons who have disap- peared under circumstances of a political nature. The U.S., backed by Sweden, proposed that the investiga- tion be conducted by a spe- cial five-member UN work- ing group. The head of the Soviet delegation, Valerian Zorin, had no immediate reaction to Novak's proposal. In 1957, the Soviet gov- ernment told the Swedish government that Wallen- berg had died in 1947 in prison. But there have been persistent reports since then that he is alive and has been seen in various Rus- sian prisons or mental in- stitutions. 1982 CADILLAC SEE ME TIM AUDETTE Sales & Leasing at AUDETTE CADILLAC 7100 Orchard Lake Rd. at Northwestern, West Bloomfield (313) 851-7200 PERSONALIZED SERVICE GUARANTEED When You're Under Pressure / STEAM! at igatit Bram A Gentlemen's Club Your Hosts: Frank K.
