their daughter, Lisa Ilene,

Franks, Noodles

lb. mushrooms
1 green pepper; diced
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsps. oil
4 tomatoes, cut into eights
(peeled)
1 1/2 cups tomato juice
1 tsp. garlic powder
salt, peper to taste
1 lb. cocktail frankfurters
6 ozs. cooked noodles
Saute vegetables in oil. Add
tomato juice and spices and
bring to a boil. Add
frankfurters and simmer
covered for 10 minutes. Pour
over hot, drained noodles.

"Hitting Our Stride —
Women at Midlife" is the
subject of a day-long semi-
nar sponsored by the
Greater Detroit Section,
National Council of Jewish
Women, March 10 at the
Bloomfield Township Li-
brary. The program is pre-
sented by the public affairs
— women's issues commit-
tee.
Following coffee and
registration at 9:30 a.m.,
participants will hear Gail
Stewart, counseling super-
visor, Jewish Vocational
Service, who will speak on
options available to women
at midlife: career oppor-
tunities, educational goals,
small business ventures
and professional volun-
teerism.
