" NEW YORK — A $500,000 grant has been awarded to the Jewish Wel- fare Board by the Florence G. Heller Foundation of Chicago. The grant is speci- fically earmarked for the advancement of manage- ment skills among Jewish community center and YM & YWHA executives and administrators. The $500,000 grant, to- gether with $150,000 in matching funds from other JWB sources, will establish the Florence G. Heller Memorial Fund in honor of - Mrs. Heller, a Chicago philanthropist who served as president of JWB from April 1964 until her death in January 1966. The fund "will provide JWB with an opportunity to expand professional educa- tion and training for execu- tives, potential executives and middle management personnel of Jewish com- munity centers and YM- YWHAs nationwide and overseas," a JWB spokes- man said. 369-7133 Complete , Carry-out MK Criticizes Israel Education JERUSALEM (ZINS) — Labor MK Arye Nehamkin made a Knesset speech re- cently that was critical of the "Socialist education" that he had received. He said he favors "tradi- tion" but knew little about it because of his Socialist education. He added that Is- rael's best young people today are those who wear yarmulkes.
