Set shells in a pan of hot, coarse kosher rock salt. Spread sauce over fish pieces and sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs. Bake at 450 degrees about 25 minutes; then place under broiler to brown. Stir in flour, salami, and green pepper. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add remaining ingredients except rice. Bring to boil. Add 1 Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add nondairy creamer and enough flour (about 1/2 cup) to make a soft dough. In a separate bowl combine margarine, sugar, salt and eggs with electric mixer on low speed. Add soft ball of yeast dough and mix thoroughly. Gradually add 21/2 cups flour to make a medium dough. Place in greased bowl and brush top of dough with melted mar- garine. Cover with damp cloth and let rise until doubled in bulk (about 3 hours). Sprinkle 1 cup flour on board. Place dough on board and knead until smooth. Roll into long strand and twist. Place on greased cookie sheet and form into oval shape, con- necting ends by pinching to- gether with dampened fingers. Cover with damp cloth and let rise until doubled in bulk (about 1 hour). Bake in 325 de- gree oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Decorate top of cake with light coating of cane syrup and sprinkle with alternate bands of purple-, green-, and gold- colored sugar.
