Dr. Henry Green Dr. Henry Green, a de- ntist since 1929, died Feb. 1 at age 77. Born in Chicago, Ill., Dr. Green had offices in Grosse Pointe. He was graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentis- try in 1929. He was a member of the Michigan State Dental Association and Detroit-4-District Dental Society and its current his- torian. He also was a member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, Detroit Dental Clinic Club and Perfection Lodge of the Masons. He was the president of the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan from 1975 to 1977. He leaves his wife, Edna; a son, Howard of Midland; a brother, Dr. Emanuel; a sis- ter, Mrs. Albert (Dorothy) Rood; and two grandsons. Dr. R.B Rader nr,;. Richard Brian Rader, a 'kat doctor with offices iii-i-iymouth, died Jan. 30 at age 32. Born in Detroit, Dr. Rader was graduated from the Wayne State University Medical School. He was a member of the American Medical Association. State Sen. Charles Blondy, Urged Kashrut Protection Former State Senator Charles Blondy, who repre- sented. Wayne County's Fourth District from 1940 to 1964, died Jan. 28 at age 75. Born in Philadelphia, Sen. Blondy was in his youth among the first to be enrolled in the Detroit Young Judea Movement. While in the Senate, he ad- vocated legislation to as- sure protection of kashrut laws in Michigan. Sen. Blondy was the Se- nate's Democratic minority leader at one time. He served on the Highways, In- terstate Cooperation and Taxation Committees. He later .worked as a bailiff for Wayne County Courts, retiring in 1974. He was an active member of the Hebrew Benevo- lent Society. Sen. Blondy retired to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in 1975. He is survived by a brother, Dr. Samuel H. of Coconut Creek, Fla; a sister, Mrs. Lee Jacoby of South- field; and nieces and nephews. Yetta V. and Max Englander Dr. Milton Leonard Selker, a former Detroiter who was the retired vice president of research for Gould Inc. of Cleveland, died Jan. 18 at age 66. Born in Detroit, Dr. Selker was raised in Cleve- land. He earned his docto- rate degree in chemistry in 1939 at Western Reserve University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honorary. He published many articles about his re- search on petroleum and rubber.
