THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Counterfeit Ring JERUSALEM (ZINS) — Israeli police have confis- cated millions of dollars worth of phony $100 U.S. banknotes and arrested several members of a coun- terfeit ring. The ring has been preying on persons wishing to cheaply convert Israeli shekels into U.S. dollars as a hedge against inflation.
