TEL AVIV (JTA) — A

firmed that there had been
"routine reconnaissance
flights" but the pilots re-
ported no missiles fired at
then,i, he said. Reports from
Damascus and Beirut
claimed that Syrian SAM-6

Terezin Marked

LONDON — Former in-
mates of the Terezin con-
centration camp in Czechos-
lovakia recently held a
symposium in the Jewish
Town Hall in Prague to
mark the 40th anniversary
of the founding of the Nazi
death camp.
The International Coun-
cil of Jews from Czechos-
lovakia stated, "The Czech
media paid more attention
to the 40-year anniversary
than on previous similar
dates, although a good
many broadcasts and press
reports continued to present
the victims, in their vast
majority Jews, as part and
parcel of an 'anti-Fascist
community' persecuted' by
the Nazis.'
