16 Allied Campaign Appointments Announced

Campaign - Israel Emer-
gency Fund, have an-
nounced chairmen for four
of the Campaign profes-
sional and trades divisions,
which are headed overall by
Divisions Chairman Earl G.
Grant.
The division chairmen
are Harvey S. Miller and
Alan E. Teitel, Mercantile;
Paul D. Borman and Lawr-
ence S. Jackier, Profes-
sional Service; Albert
Newman and Morris
Rochlin, Industrial and Au-
tomotive; and Robert M.
Citrin and Joel D. Gershen-
son, Real Estate and Build-
ing Trades.

Family Service.
Jackier was a co-
chairman of the. Profes-
sional Service Division for
the 1980 and 1981 Cam-
paigns. He is a board
member of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation and the
Jewish Community Center
and co-chairs the Soviet
Jewry Committee of the
Jewish Community Coun-
cil. Active in the United
Jewish Appeal's National
Young Leadership Cabinet,
he was its chairman in
1980-1981. He serves on
Federation's Culture and
Education budgeting and
planning 'division and the
committees- on Capital
Needs and Cash Mobiliza-
tion.
Newman and Rochlin
chaired the Industrial
and Automotive Division
in 1981 and were co-
chairmen in 1980. Both
are board members of the
Detroit Service Group.
Newman, who has served
on the United • Hebrew
Schools board, is on Fed-
eration's Collection Re-
view and Speakers'
Bureau Committees.
Rochlin is on the board of
the Jewish Vocational
Service and Community
Workshop.
Citrin was chairman of
the Real .Estate and Build-
ing Trades Division last
year and its co-chairman in
1980. He is a member of the
boards of the Jewish Com-

ership Award from Federa-

Steinberg is responsible
for promoting the Cam-
paign among the area
synagogues and temples,
and Shirley Harris is
charged with coordinat-
ing the year's Campaign
Meetings and events to
avoid timing conflicts.
Lucow was a 1981 pre-'
