Gaza Strip, Golan Druze Strikes End TEL AVIV (JTA) — The two-week general strike in the Gaza Strip ended when Gaza Mayor Rasahed A-Shawwa announced the re-opening of shops and municipal services this week. Meanwhile, a four-day strike by Golan Druze, pro- testing the imposition of Is- raeli law on the area, has ended, but the atmosphere in the four villages in which the nearly 13,000 Golan Druze are concentrated re- mains tense. Religious leaders have imposed sanctions against the minority of Druze who support the Israeli move. One villager was barred from attending his mother's funeral by religious leaders who said he was being ex- communicated because of his support for Israel which made a traitor to the Druze cause. • • WORLD IMPORTS, lnc•: • • • 0/ SAVE 20/0 * • • • A WIDE ASSORTMENT OF FINE • • GIFTS & COLLECTIBLES • • • FROM AROUND THE WORLD • • • I • SNAKE CUBES • • AT SPECIAL PRICES • • • • JEWELRY & MUSIC BOXES CHILDREN'S MUSIC BOXES • ance policies, valued at $1,649,464.
