Michigan Bill
on Creationism

Two Republican members
of the Michigan Legislature
say they will introduce a bill
requiring that the Bible's
version of Creation be
taught in public schools
with the theory of evolution.
A similar Arkansas law is
currently being challenged
in a Little,Rock court.
Rep. Alan -Cropsey of
DeWitt and Sen. Ed. Fred-
ricks of Holland say their
bill in the Michigan Legis-
lature will be similar to one
that was defeated in the
Legislature in 1975.
Cleverness and cunning
are incompatible
