Broner's novel, "A Weave of Women" has been published by Ban- tam Books. A reception in honor of Dr. Broner will be held in New York in January. Mrs. Broner is an associate professor in the English Department at Wayne State University, where she is the writer in residence. "A Weave of Women" is the story of 15 women who live in a stone house in the Old City of Jerusalem. The women are from many lands, different traditions and opposing outlooks. In the passage of the novel, some are reborn, some come to terms wtih their bodies, their lives, their loves, and others slip away and are lost.
