Norman Wachler has
been appointed chairman of
the Below $10,000 Gifts
subcommittee of the 1982
Allied Jewish Campaign -
Israel Emergency Fund's
Campaign Management
Committee. The an-
nouncement was made by
Campaign General Chair-
men Jay M. Kogan and Joel
D. Tauber.
Serving with Wachler
will be five vice chairmen:
Dr. Paul C. Feinberg,
Thomas I. Klein, David K.
go--- Page, Dr. Harris W. Mains-
ter and Harry L. Silverman.
Wachler served four
years as an associate Cam-
paign chairman. He was a
pre-Campaign chairman in
1976 and 1977 and formerly
chaired the Mercantile Di-
vision. Wachler serves on
the boards of the Jewish
Welfare Federation and the
Detroit Service Group. He is
a committee member of
Federation's Community
Services budgeting and
planning division and Fed-
eration committees on col-
lection review, personnel
and management, cash
mobilization, and outreach
and speakers' bureau.
Wachler is president of the
Jewish Association for Re-
tarded Citizens.
Dr. Feinberg, a former
chairman of the Profes-
sional- Division, was a
pre-Campaign vice
chairman for the last four
Campaigns. He is a
member of the Federa-
tion Board of Governors
and of its collection re-
view and communica-
tions committees. He
serves on two Federation
budgeting and planning
committees: National and
Community Relations
Agencies, of which he is
associate chairman; and
Culture and Education.
Dr. Feinberg is vice pres-
ident of the United Heb-
rew Schools and a direc-
tor of the Detroit Service
Group.
