Rabbi Wayne D. Dosick has videotaped a 45-minute Friday evening Sabbath service and is distributing the tape through Kulanu Video Productions in San Diego. The service is con- ducted by Rabbi Dosick and Cantor Barry M. Caplan. It includes responsive read- ings (with graphics appear- ing on the screen), tradi- tional melodies, songs and sing-a-longs and a message from Rabbi Dosick. A full congregation par- ticipates with the rabbi and cantor, giving the viewer a sense of being in a synagogue with a commun- ity of Jews. Rabbi Dosick has served pulpits in La Jolla, Calif. and Wil- mington, Del. He is a past president of the San Diego Rabbinical As- sociation, founder of the San Diego Jewish Academy and is a member of the Rabbini- cal Assembly and the Central Conference of American Rabbis. • The videotape cassettes FLORIDA WINDSOR CHARTERS TO: TAMPA — 182.50 FT. LAUDERDALE week. Shreiber, last Shreiber was appointed to his post by the former Re- ligious Affairs Minister, Aharon Abu - Hatzeira, who quit the NRP shortly before the Knesset elections last June and formed his own faction, Tami. Burg, now says he is ready once and for all for a showdown with Ham- mer in the party's Central Committee. This means that he and Hammer will stand for the office of Re- ligious Affairs Minister. Should Burg lose, his primacy and that of Lamifine in the NRP would be at an end. Burg's top political or- ganizer, Rafael Ben - Natch, says he is confident that the Young Guard will suffer a crushing defeat in an all-out contest of strength within the party. But whichever faction wins, the NRP would face a serious schism and possible seccession by the loser. The party's two main factions — Lamifne, led by Interior Minister Yosef Burg, and the Young Guard, headed by Educa- tion Minister Zevulun Hammer — are each threatening a "power struggle to the bitter end." The latest confrontation between the frequently warring factions was touched off when Burg, who also holds the portfolio of Religious Affairs Minister, fired the director general of that ministry, Gedalia $204.00 • Round Trip Weekend Departures • Space Available Starting In January • Optional Hotel Package at Additional Cost Greatways Travel Corporation 26711 Northwestern Hwy., Southfield, Michigan 48034 (313) 352-4873 Mon.-Thurs. 9:00-5:30 p.m., Fri. 9:00-5:00 • are produced in a wide vari- ety of video formats and can be shown on closed circuit television or by means of a portable videocassette re- corder.
