Lessman and Jackier Are Appointed
to Bar-Ilan University Overseers Board

Salek Lessman and
Joseph H. Jackier, active in
Bar-Ilan University's ac-
tivities in Detroit, have
been elected to the univer-
sity's American Board of
Overseers, announce Phil-
lip &oilman, chairman of
Bar:Ilan's Global Board of
Trustees, and Dr. Leon Fill,
vice president of the Ameri-
can Board of Overseers and
a member of the Global
Board.
Lessman is a Bar-Ilan
founder and has been active
in the university's affairs
since its inception. He is a
past scholarship chairman
and most recently served as
chairman on behalf of the
university's business ad-
ministration program.
In addition, he is a
founder of the Technion

Apartments. In addition he
is on the Sinai Hospital
Board, and is a past board
member of Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.

2 cups diced potatoes
1 cup thinly sliced carrot
rounds
1 cup fresh mushrooms, thinly

1 small red pepper, diced
1 tsp. salt
dash white pepper
1 tsp. paprika
4 tbsps. butter, melted
Layer vegetables In a round,
greased, 6-cup casserole,
sprinkling every other layer
with spices. Pour melted but-
ter over top with a dash of pap-
rika. Bake covered at 375 de-
grees for one hour. Serves 6.
