Rabbi Irwin Groner, in the address of tribute, paid honor to Dorfman as a man who rose above deep despair to become an important per- sonality in the Jewish community and in industry despite the sufferings entailed during the Holocaust. He described the miseries suffered by the victims of Nazism and the agonies to which Dorfman was sub- jected, and he acclaimed the courage with which Dorfman overcame the pains and made a dignified and productive future for himself in this country.
