Jewish Students
Protest Exhibit
at McGill U.

MONTREAL (JTA) —
Jewish students at McGill
University are protesting
an anti-Israel display on the
campus and 250 of them
have signed a petition de-
manding its removal.
The display, prepared by
the university's Arab Stu-
dents Association, was
mounted in the main foyer
of the undergraduate li-
brary. It contains photo-
graphs of dismembered
corpses said to be of Arab
children.
Seth Soroka, president of
the McGill Hillel House,
who organized the protests,
said the exhibit was insult-
ing material and vicious
propaganda. "Wes had a
diaplay of Jewish and Is-
raeli culture last year but
we did not include this type
of material," he said.
Dr. Hans Moller, director
of the library, said that
"while it was not library
policy to censor displays, I
have requested that the
Arab students modify their
exhibit. Never before were
so many students so pain-
fully affected by such a dis-
play."

Rights Recor d s

TEL AVIV (ZINS) —
Prof. Benjamin Akzin of the
Hebrew University of
Jerusalem says that -West-
ern nations should compare
their own human rights re-
cords in time of war to that
of Israel's human rights re-
cord.
Under that comparison,
Akzin writes, Israel's record
is very creditable.

ADL Asks Haig
to Extradite
Ziad Abu Eain

CHICAGO — The Anti -
Defamation League of Bnai
Brith has urged Secretary of
State Alexander M. Haig Jr.
to extradite Ziad Abu Eain,
an accused Palestinian ter-
rorist, to Israel.
Maxwell E. Greenberg,
ADL's national chairman,
noted in a Nov. 10 letter to
Secretary Haig that the
U.S. Supreme Court has de-
nied Abu Eain's appeal for a
hearing, letting stand the
decision of a U.S. Federal
court in favor of Abu Eain's
extradition to stand trial for
a May 14, 1979 bombing in
Tiberias, Israel.
Two-children were killed
and 36 other civilians were
wounded in the blast, which
occurred in a crowded mar-
