The Nov. 1 opening of the
academic year marked the
completion of Hebrew Uni-
versity's return to its origi-
nal home on Mount Scopus.
The transfer of 10,000

of the National Library.
The Jordanian occupa-

1948 War of Independence
forced the university to seek

capture by Israel in the
1967 Six - Day War began a
massive building program
to be completed next year
with the incorporation of
the Bezalel School of Art.
