Beate Klarsfeld,-who has
established a world-wide
reputation as a Nazi hunter,
will be the speaker for the
Temple Israel Sisterhood 8
p.m. Tuesday at the temple.
Her topic will be "Neo-
Nazism On the Rise."
A German non-Jew, mar-
ried to a Jew, and living in
Paris, France, she has taken
up the cause of world Jewry
and dedicated herself to
fighting discrimination and
persecution of Jews
everywhere.
She is best known for ex-
posing the Nazi back-
grounds of former war crim-
inals now in influential
poSitions in Germany and
France. She and her hus-
band, Serge, rely heavily
upon documentation. Their
primary sources are the
archives that were aban-
doned by the Gestapo in
France and Germany at the
end of World War II.

The bride is the daughter of

and her husband attended
the Golden Gate University
Law School, where they
earned Juris Doctor de-
grees. The couple are resid-
ing in San Francisco.

Glass" is the title of the next
program being presented by
Career Women of the
Jewish Welfare Federation
Women's Division. Working
women are invited to attend
the dinner meeting 6 p.m.
Nov. 19 in the United He-
brew Schools board room.
The program begins at 7.
Dinner reservations are re-

Marcy Feldman and
Janice Schwartz will lead a
discussion of "Images of
Us," instructing the group
to examine their feelings
about a series of pictures
depicting Jews and Jewish
scenes worldwide. Many of
the photographs show per-
sons being assisted by the
local, national and interna-
tional beneficiaries of the
Allied Jewish Campaign-
Israel Emergency Fund,
and the role of Campaign
will be explored.
