in West Germany, of whom
140 are prepared to resort to
violence to further their
political aims.
He said that, 400 indi-
viduals and organiza-
tions have been regis-
tered by the domestic se-
curity services as con-
tributors to or fund-
raisers for neo-Nazi
groups.
Baum made the disclo-
sure following the discovery
of 30 separate weapons
caches in the Luneburger
Heide region of Lower
Saxony, used by neo-Nazi
and extreme right-wing
organizations.
However, the figures he
cited apparently do not in-
clude activists who belong
to the more "established"
neo-Nazi groups such as the
National Democratic Party
(NPD) which has a mem-
bership of about 8,300 ac-
cording to the security serv-
ices.
Official sources said the
largest organization of
right-wing extremists in
the Federal Republic is the
German Peoples Union
which, with affiliated
groups, has a membership
of 13,500. It is headed by
Gerhard Frey, publisher of
the weekly German Na-
tional Newspaper.

TEL AVIV (JTA) —
Eilat's week-long celebra-
tion to mark the opening of
its winter tourist season got
off to a damp start Sunday.
The normally dry resort
town on the eastern extrem-
ity of the Red Sea was busy
cleaning up and repairing
damage caused by a sudden
cloudburst which dumped
an inch of rain in one hour
last Friday. As a result,
hotels operated at only half
of capacity.
Meanwhile, El Al's plans
to inaugurate direct tourist
flights from European cities
to Eilat— the "Sun Line" —
were marred by a strike of
ground crews who are de-
manding extra pay to serv-
ice the planes at Eilat. El Al
began the new service, but
its passengers from Europe
had to be landed at Ben Gur-
ion Airport near. Tel Aviv
and transferred to smaller
planes of Arkia, Israel's
domestic carrier, for the
flight to Eilat.

Burg Predicts
Accord Soon

JERUSALEM (JTA) —
Interior Minister Yosef
Burg said that Egypt and
Israel could :each an
agreement of understand-
ing on autonomy for the
West Bank and Gaza Strip
in a matter of six-eight
weeks.
Burg, who is Israel's chief
negotiator in the autonomy
talks, told the Knesset's
Foreign Affairs and Secu-
rity Committee that there
were no real obstacles to
signing such an agreement.

Maxwell House- Coffee
Is AWirmiPlcome.

"Breaking bread" as a symbol of
peace, friendship, warmth and hos-
pitality is a tradition that is as old as
the Bible itself.

Although far from being as old as
the Bible, Maxwell House" Coffee
has been part of that tradition for
over a half a century. The reason is
simple: the full-pleasant aroma and
great tasting,
satisfying flavor of
Maxwell House)

blends right in with the good food
and hospitality that is part of
inviting people into your home.
So, no matter what your preference—
instant or ground—when you pour
Maxwell House:® you pour hospi-
tality. At its warmest ...consistently
cup after cup after cup.
