Other officers are: Adam Weiner, vice Holocaust Memorial Center Parlor Meeting Set Tuesday A parlor meeting to dis- cuss the latest develop- ments in planning for the Holocaust Memorial Center of Detroit will be held Tues- day in the Southfield home of Irving Laker. Henry Dorfman, chair- man of the HMC's capital and endowment campaign, said the meeting will be attended by organizers and major contributors to the project, and his appointees to a committee planning the upcoming groundbreaking ceremonies. The Holocaust Memorial Center will be built on a site adjoining the Jewish Com- munity Center, at Maple and Drake roads in West Bloomfield. Dorfman said there will be a report at the meeting on the results of the cur- rent solicitation phase for the Holocaust Memo- rial Center, which began this summer. To date, he said more than $900,000 has been raised for the capital and endowment fund. Additional assign- ment cards will be dis- tributed as the committee makes a final effort to se- cure contributions for the HMC. Attendees will be encouraged to make or increase their own pledges.
