The municipal executive of
Rindhoven has refused to
withdiaw its commission to
a Dutch former Nazi col-
' laborator to compose a mus-
ical tribute to the town on
the occasion of its 750th an-
niversary.
The composer, Henk Bad-
ings, 74, was branded a Nazi
collaborator by a Dutch
de-Nazification court after
World War II and his works
were banned in The Nether-
lands for 10 years. During
war he composed an anthem
for the Dutch Nazi Party.
