"Ike and Mama and the Once-in-a-Lifetime Movie" COHEN For Oak Park Council Paid for by Citizens for Cohen (Coward, McCann and Geoghegan) is the third Ike and Mamaistory by Ms. Snyder. Her "Ike and Mama and the Block Wedding" won the 1979 Association of Jewish Libraries Book Award. The condemnation came in a resolution passed by the governing council of the AJCongress. It accused the evangelical movement's adherents of attempting to intimidate when they can- not persuade "by using the size of their electronic con- gregations and by threaten- ing political reprisal through the proliferation of hit lists." The AJCongress accused the movement of claiming for itself "an absolute moral and political rectitude."
