LISTENING
POST
THE BOARDWALK,
opening around spring of
1982 on Orchard Lake Rd.
just south of Maple Rd., is
slated to be one of the finest
specialty shopping centers
of its kind.
No stores will be tucked
away ... all facing Orchard
Lake Rd. ... a very big plus
with all that traffic going
by.
The Boardwalk is being
developed and built by the
Applegate Square team of
Ron Licht, Leonard Siegal
and Harold Beznos ... There
will be about 25 stores ... all
specialty-types in the
Applegate quality ... plus a
restaurant.
LOVED
"MAMA
LITTMANS" has become
somewhat of a traveling
show already ... The big
favorite written by Lil
Sklar ... with gals from
Cong. Beth Achim Sister-
hood and
Marshall-
Suburban Lodge Bnai Brith
performing, will be put on
one more time ... Oct. 27, 8
p.m., at the Farmington
Community Library, 12
Mile between Orchard Lake
Rd. and Farmington Rd. ...
by the Business and Profes-
sional Chapter of Bnai
Brith.
Tickets will not be sold at
the door ... but can be gotten
by calling Dorothy
Goldberg, 548-6850.
"Mama Loved Littman's"
has entertained the area
immensely with its charm,
laughter and songs of yes-
teryears ... plus dancing and
comedy ... like folks loved to
see and hear at Littman's
Peoples Theater some years
ago.
This may be the last time
in a long while that "Mama
Loved Littman's" will be
performed ... and those who
missed it won't want to pass
the opportunity of seeing it
... Many who hoped to see it
again also get their oppor-
tunity.
ED WOLFE was in town
visiting from Florida ... but
will no doubt remember this
more than the other visits.
Ed not only stayed here
much longer than expected
... but underwent a bit of
surgery.
However, what will
linger most is the first time
he ever had a surprise
birthday party.
So much fun by his fun-
loving family ... at the home
of Lil Dunn (Ray) ... She and
Ed's other sisters, Ceil
Krigel (Ben), Tillie
Klebanoff (Joe) and Bessie
Katz (Lou) ... plus smiling
brother Morley (Ruth)
Wolfe.
Nice to know such down-
to-earth people ... and Eddie
has reason to be happy
they're his family.
SARAH AND SY
NEUMAN are proud of
daughter Marlene Budman
who is not only secretary of
the Home Improvement
Council of Metropolitan De-
troit, but also recently
passed her exam as a fully-
licensed builder ... Husband
Bob is owner of the Budman
Co.
WHEN
LARRY
CRANTZ does something .
he does it in a big way ... Not
one or two for Larry ... but
four heart bypass opera-
tions at the same time ...
And here's one guy you'll
never keep down Two
weeks later he was back to
work full time.
CLARE MILLER was
feted at a birthday party by
gal friends Dorothy Hack,
Esther Polen, Linda Stein-
berger and daughter Rae
Schwartz ... with big sur-
prise gift being a trip to
Europe by children Ruth
Miller and Rae ... Hubby
Andy Miller will join Clare
for a lot of fun across the
ocean.
RESIDENTS OF OAK

BONN (JTA) — West
German intelligence serv-
ices may have infiltrated
the Palestine Liberation
Organization office here,
obtaining information on
various PLO activities.
According to the West
German daily, Die Welt, the
Bonn authorities may have
been informed in advance of
recent PLO activities in Au-
stria, although that re-
mains unclear.
A well placed source indi-
cated that the disclosure in
the PLO office may have
been the outcome of a recent
expose in an official publi-
cation dealing with military
cooperation between the
PLO and neo-Nazi groups in
West Germany.
Meanwhile, according to
Die Welt, the PLO office is
in disarray over reported
leaks. Arab diplomatic cir-
cles here have been unusu-
ally outspoken in describing
what they allegedly termed
a "confidence crisis" in the
PLO office.
