on Oct. 27 at 11:30 a.m. at
the Standard Club North.
This seminar will grant two
CPE credit hours.
Sponsorship of the semi-
nar is provided by the
Foundation for the Jewish
National Fund of which
Probate Court Judge Barry
M. Grant is chairman of the
endowment committee and
the co-chairman is Franklin
J. Ellias.
Zapruder attended the
University of Oklahoma
(BBA 1959) and Oxford
University, Oxford, Eng-
land. He obtained his legal
education at Harvard Uni-
versity (LLB cum laude,
1962) and was admitted to
the bar in 1962 (Texas) and
1969 (District of Columbia).
Serving as an attorney
in the tax division, De-
partment of Justice
1963-1967, he represented
the U.S. in civil federal
tax controversies. Con-
tinuing his federal ser-
vice in the office of tax
legislative counsel, U.S.
Treasury Department
1967-1969, he was in-
volved in the develop-
ment of tax reform prop-
osals which were ulti-
mately advanced by the
Treasury Department
and became part of the
Tax Reform Act of 1969.
Zapruder is a member of
the Federal and American

Bible Women
Lecture Topic

Rochelle Millen will pre-
sent a lecture on "Images of
Women in the Bible" 11
a.m. Thursday at the Mid-
rasha College of Jewish
Studies. She will be the sec-
ond guest lecturer in the
Midrasha Colloquium of
Jewish Women's Issues.
Mrs. Millen is an educa-
tional consultant for United
Hebrew Schools, and has
also taught Bible in the Un-
ited Hebrew Schools High
School. She is a magna cum
laude graduate of Stern Col-
lege and received her MA
degree in philosophy from
McMaster University,
Hamilton, Ont. Having
taught both in Canada and
at the Pardes Institute,
Jerusalem, she is currently
completing studies toward a
PhD degree in religious
studies at McMaster.
The lecture is preceded by
classes which meet at 10
a.m. and is followed by
luncheon at noon. Registra-
tion is required, and there is
a charge. For information,
