invited to go horseback rid-
ing at Roy's Ranch, leaving
from the synagogue at 1
p.m. Participants should
bring a dairy lunch. There is

Persons who do not wish
to go riding may go bowling,
meeting at the West Bloom-
field Lanes at 1 p.m. Kosher
hot dogs will be served, and

The youth lounge is
open every Tuesday from
6 p.m. to 8:30 • p.m.
Everyone is invited to
play ping-pong and other

BNEI AKIVA of Detroit
will soon begin the publica-
tion of a series of informa-
tion sheets reviewing the
wealth of Jewish tradition
surrounding the Land of Is-
rael.
The sheet will contain
quotes in Hebrew and En-
glish from a variety of
sources in Judaica, as well
as a quiz for youngsters, and
will be called "Eretz
Chemda — The Beloved
Land."
Only those receiving Bnei
Akiva information in the
mail will receive Eretz
Chemda. Those interested
in the publication can add
their names to the Bnei
Akiva mailing list by cal-
ling Sheila Kresch, 968-
7025.
Chavrayeh Aleph will
meet for Snif on Shabat
afternoons, two hours be-
fore Minha at Young Is-
rael of Greenfield. Re-
freshments will be
served. Groups will begin
meeting Saturday.
On Sunday, Chavrayeh
Aleph will have a member-
ship activity 2 p.m. at
Young Israel of Oak-Woods.
Movies will be shown, The
acitivity is free for mem-
bers. Non-member's will be
charged a nominal fee. Re-
freshments will be served.
Grades four-seven will go
sukka shopping Oct. 13.
Anyone interested should
meet at Young Israel of
Greenfield at 2:30.
Chavrayeh Bet will go
rollerskating Oct. 17 for
their membership activity.
They will meet at Young Is-
rael of Oak-Woods. Drivers

Jewish Institute for
Youth (JIFY) will meet 9:30
a.m. Sunday for breakfast
in the youth lounge. Guest
speaker is Charles Wolfe,
executive director of the
Jewish Home for Aged.
There is a charge for non-
members.
Shabat .youth services
will be held at 10 a.m.
Saturday for JCUSY and
Kadima in the small adult
chapel. Chaverim will meet
in the Tikvah Chapel at
10:30 a.m. Nitzanim will

GREENFIELD will have a
minyan for youth age 6-11
at 10 a.m. Saturday. Groups

Young Israel Teens will

for sukka decorating. After
decorating the sukka, the
group will decorate the
Young Israel of Oak-Woods
