raeli song fest at noon Oct.
28 on the U-M Diag.

Young Professionals will
hold a progressive dinner
for which reservations
are necessary. Call Mike

Hillel offers a kosher deli
dinner each Sunday at 6
p.m., followed by three
hours of Israel folk dancing.
Orthodox, Conservative
and Reform services are
held each Friday evening,
and a traditional Shabat
meal follows (reservations
myst be made by noon Fri-
day). There is also a tradi-
tional Shabat morning ser-
vice weekly at 9:30 a.m. and
a Seudah Shlishit with
Minha each Saturday af-
ternoon.

Center Offers
Gymnastics
The Jewish Community
Center will offer classes in
gymnastics and acro-
gymnastics for boys and
girls starting Monday in the
main building. Mike
Friedin is the instructor.
Artistic gymnastics clas-
ses will be held as follows:
6-8 year olds, 4 p.m. Tues-
day and 9-15 year olds 5
p.m. Tuesday. Acro-
gymnastics (routines with
tumbling, floor exercises
and pyramids) will meet 5
p.m. Mondays and Wednes-
days for the advanced group
and at 6 p.m. Tuesdays and
Thursdays.
Beginners and inter-
mediate classes will be held
5 p.m. Thursdays. To regis-
ter, call the Center, 661-
1000, ext. 180 and 181.
There is a charge.
Nursery to Have
Sukkot Party
The Shaarey Zedek Beth
Hayeled (nursery school
and kindergarten) will hold
a Sukkot party for all Beth
Hayeled students and their
families 3 p.m. Oct. 18 in the
synagogue sukka.
The party is co-sponsored
by the Beth Hayeled and the
membership committee,
under the chairmanship of
Ilene Chait. A Sukkot snack
will be served. Entertain-
ment will be provided by the
Red Rug Puppet Theater,
under the direction of pup-
peteer Beth Katz. There is
no charge.
