Activities

The annual Bnai Brith
Youth Organization Kickoff
Dance will take place 8:30
p.m. Saturday at
Southfield-Lathrup High
School. The dance is free to
alt nationally registered
members of AZA and BBG.
Non-registered and pro-
spective members will be
admitted at a nominal fee.
The next meeting of the
Great Lakes AZA Council
will take place 7 p.m. Mon-
day in the Dubin Meeting
Room of the Bnai Brith
Building. Council will de-
cide on its annual fund
raiser. Each chapter is ex-
pected to be represented by
at least three delegates.
The first meeting of the
1981 regional convention
steering committee will
take place 4 p.m. Tuesday in
the Dubin Meeting Room of
th Bnai Brith Building. All
AZA and BBG chapter
regional chairmen and
chapter presidents are in-
vited. BBYO members
wishing to work on regional
convention steering com-
mittees also are invited.
This year's BBYO fall
convention will be a
leadership training insti-
tute. The program will
take place Oct. 23-25 at
Camp Tamarack. Appli-
cations are available
from any AZA or BBG
chapter president or
from the BBYO office.
BBYO announces the ap-
pointment of the following
new advisers: Mitchell Eps-
tein to Kishon AZA, and
Steven Canner to Wallen-
berg AZA. Volunteer advis-
ers are still needed for AZA
chapters in the
Birmingham-Bloomfield
Hills area, West Bloomfield
and Southfield. To volun-
teer, call Brian Ackerson at
