Rabbis Laud JNF Effort JERUSALEM — Israel's Chief Rabbis, Shlomo Goren. and Ovadia Yosef, have is- sued New Year proclama- tions on behalf of the Jewish National Fund. The rabbis commend the JNF for helping to carry out the biblical commandment to redeem and resettle the land.
