New Staff at Midwest Consulate

Emanuel Zippori has
taken over as Consul Gen-
eral of Israel to the Mid-
west, headquartered in
Chicago.
Also serving on the consu-
late staff are Bracha Os-
hratt, consul for informa-
tion; Ehud Gol, consul for
press and information;
Jacob Segev, vice Consul for
administration and consu-
lar affairs; Daniel Zimri,
vice consul; and Elliott
Chodoff, director of the

speakers bureau.
Zippori was born in
Cleveland in 1926 and spent
the major portion of his
childhood and young adult
years in the Chicago area.
He graduated from Hyde
Park High School in 1942
and served in the United
States Army during World
War II. He returned to
Chicago where he
graduated from the College
of Jewish Studies and went
on to receive his MA in
political science from the
