The Public Television
documentary, "The Hunter
and the Hunted" reports the
results of the continuing
worldwide search for these
Nazi war criminals.
Presented by WQED-
Pittsburgh, "The Hunter
and the Hunted" will air 8
p,m. Oct. 21 and 1 a.m. Oct.
22 on Channel 56. Jose Fer-
rer narrates the hour-long
special.
Interviewed in the
documentary are Simon
Wiesenthal, the world's
foremost hunter of Nazi
criminals; Beate Klarsfeld,
a German non-Jew who has
dedicated her life to bring-
ing these criminals to jus-
tice; former SS officers Wal-
ter Rauff, murderer of
250,000 people and Klaus
Barbie alias Klaus
Altmann, "the Butcher of
Lyon." Both Rauff and Bar-
bie head the most wanted
list, along with Dr. Josef
Mengele, "the Angel of
Death."
Highlights of "The
Hunter and the Hunted"
include archival film
of Adolf
footage
Eichmann's historic trial
in Israel and film smug-
gled out of Germany
showing the mobile
