UJA Seeks Cash
NEW YORK — Edgar
Cadden, United Jewish Ap-
peal national cash chair-
man, has called for renewed
efforts to increase the cash
flow of paid-up contribu-
tions during the last four
months of 1981.
Cadden asked rabbis and
communal leaders, in
reaching their friends and
congregants during this
holiday season, to stress
pledge payments as an ex-
pression of Jewish brother-
hood and mutual responsi-
bility.

_ TEL AVIV (ZINS) — Ben-
jamin Azkin, emeritus pro-
fessor of political science at
Hebrew University, says Is-
rael has presented an image
of intransigence only be-
cause of the ways it has
negotiated its many offers of
concessions on Middle East
issues.
