He has been a visiting associate professor at several univer- sities. Dr. Berk has also been commentator, writer, and director of a radio program entitled "Com- munist Insight," which weekly presented a analysis of developments taking place in the Com- munist world. At present, Dr. Berk is working on a study of Rus- sian Jewry between 1881 and 1882, as well as a pro- - gram in oral history which' attempts to reconstruct Central and Eastern Euro- pean Jewish life prior to World War II by recording memories of European-born Jews. His topic will be "Anti- Semitism Then and Now."
