way, television and night-
club entertainer, will be the
featured speaker at the
opening luncheon of
- Greater Detroit Section,
National Council of Jewish
Women, noon Sept. 22 at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Miss Newman will speak
on "Choices" and present
selections from her Broad-
way show "Madwoman of
Central Park West."
Miss Newman's career
began at age 4, when she be-
came a protege of singer
Belle Baker. For the next
seven years she - performed
the circuit from Atlantic
City to the Catskills, retir-
ing at age 11.
While studying drama at
Columbia University, she

rekindled her interest in

THE BABCOCK DAIRY COMPANY! The 1981 QUALITY CHEKD
MERIT AWARD WINNER FOR EXCELLENCE IN DAIRY FOODS
is THE BABCOCK DAIRY COMPANY. Congratulations to
you and each of the employees who were necessarily
instrumental in winning this Award.

The MERIT AWARD is earned by the processing and
packaging of milk and milk products that meet the
most stringent bacteriological test--not just equal
to normal health requirements, but many times better!
The Award is based on a year's tests and represents
a constant extra effort on everyone's part.

Winning this Award requires constant attention to
detail by everyone involved in making these fine
dairy products available to consumers. The dedi-
cation they have displayed is a tribute to them-
selves as well as to The Babcock Dairy Company.

Sincerely yours,

Harlie F. Zimmerman
