Who occupies the Louis B. Kaplan Chair of Jewish Historical
Studies at the - University of Maryland. A Magna Cum Laude
Graduate from City College of New York and from Columbia
University. Dr Ruderman earned his rabbinic degree at Hebrew
Union Collegefollowed by a PhD degree in Jewish history awarded
by Hebrew University. Jerusalem. His teaching expertise. in
addition to Jewish history. is in Jewish thought, and the history of
anti-Semitism He has written and lectured extensively.
