Ami Cohen has been named to the post of Jewish Community Center and aliya shaliakh for Detroit, the American Zionist Youth Foundation announced. A member of Kibutz Ginosar, near Tiberias, Cohen was serving as cul- tural manager before as- suming his, Detroit post. Born in Tel Aviv, he com- pleted his undergraduate studies at the Rubin Insti- tute in Hadera, receiving a degree in economics.
