youth minyan 10 a.m.
Saturday for 6-11 year olds
led by David Mittelman.
Kidush follows prayers.
There will be a group for

will be the study of Mis-
hnayos in addition to songs,
games and refreshments.

A total of 29 AZA and
BBG chapter presidents
will attend the BBYO VIP
Leadership Camp Aug.
23-28 at the Charles and
Florence Milan BBYO Con-
ference Centre in Belle
River, Ont.
The six-day program in-
cludes specific leadership
training in the areas of
leadership concepts and
styles, membership, run-
ning a meeting, the Jewish
community, fund raising
and budgets and policy in-
terpretation.
The featured speaker at
the program will be Joseph
Eisenberg, executive direc-
tor of the Windsor Jewish
Community Council and
Centre.
Kevin Gersten and
Beth Berman, Great
Lakes AZA and BBG
Council presidents re-
spectively, will represent
Michigan Region at the
AZA-BBG international
board meetings to be held
Aug. 19-20 at the Bnai
Brith Perlman Camp in
Starlight, Pa.
BBYO announces the ap-
pointment of Marshall
Philka as adviser to Samson
AZA in Oak Park. Openings
still exist for advisers to
AZA and BBG chapters in
Southfield, Farmington
Hills, Huntington Woods,
Livonia and West Bloom-

The boys will meet at 7:20
p.m. Saturday.
A special youth Shalosh
Seudos will be held follow-
ing Minha at 8:20 p.m. for
all youngsters. In charge of
this project are Dr. Bill Be-
