Time Theater in Michigan
is located in Westland on
Wayne Rd. and Cherry Hill
and operated by Mike who is
the sole franchisee for the
state of Michigan . . . He ex-
pects to have four more by
December.
Pizza Time Theater is a
unique family entertain-
ment center which com-
bines a system of three-
dimensional, computer-
operated characters
(such as the rat, Chuck E.
Cheese) with a quality
pizza restaurant and
token-operated games
. . . Besides pizza, there's
a salad bar and make-
your-own ice cream sun-
dae bar . . . Group tours
and birthday party
packages are part of the
entertainment offered at
Pizza Time Theater.
Chuck E. Cheese, Mr.
Munch, Pasqually, Jasper
T. Jowls and all the rest of
the three-dimensional
characters perform on stage
in the central dining area
.. . operated by a
trademarked computer sys-
tem called Cyberamics in-
vented by Bushnell . . .
The characters perform
2 1/2-minute skits every eight
minutes.
"The Big Cheese" (Chuck
E. Cheese) is a tough New
Jersey rat who "owns" Pizza
Time Theater and throws
funny insults to the other
characters . . . He is very
concerned about bringing in
quality entertainment and
becomes upset when Jasper
T. Jowls, the banjo playing
dog, falls asleep or Italian
chef Pasqually sings opera
off-key.
The Cabaret Lounge fea-
tures Dolli Dimples nightly
. . . She is a curly-haired
hippopotamus with a Della
Reese-like voice who sings
old standards and show
tunes at a piano bar . . .
While parents alp enjoying
Dolli, the kids can be in the
game room playing any one

of 50 kiddie rides or
amusement devices oper-
ated by special tokens re-
ceived with pizza purchases.
Other features of Mike Il-
litch's fun-filled Pizza 'time
Theater are a large "cheese"
maze for children to crawl
through and Jasper T.
Jowls' general store which
carries Chuck E. Cheese
merchandise ranging from
yo-yos to dolls to T-shirts.
Chuck E. Cheese is a
character the kids love.
RECENTLY RE-
TURNED from a jet-junket
to the famed Montreux Jazz
Festival in Switzerland,
Larry Nozero Quartet at
Excalibur, Northwestern
and Franklin at 12 Mile,
has discovered that its
legion of fans continues to
grow . . . and their current
LP recording "Island Fever"
has done much in spreading
Larry's and the group's
musical appeal.

TEL AVIV (JTA) — The
most serious breach of the
cease-fire on the Lebanese
border was reported Satur-
day when Palestinians tried
to storm a position held by
Maj. Saad Haddad's Chris-
tian militia in south Leba-
non.
• Last week, Israel denied
Palestine Liberation
Organization reports that
Israeli gunboats had shelled
Palestinian camps in south-
ern Lebanon. A spokesman
said • that Israel was
"scrupulously observing"
the cease-fire.
