Cancer Society

The Sixth Annual Babe
Zaharias Invitational Golf
Tournament will be held
Tuesday at Meadowbrook
Country Club in Northville.
Proceeds from the tourna-
ment will benefit the
American Cancer Society.
Over 288 women golfers
will play in the best-ball
foursome for 18-hole stroke
play in accordance with the
USGA rules and regulata-
ions. The golfers represent
22 country clubs in Wayne
and Oakland Counties.

Glickstein Wins
Tennis Tourney

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J.
(JTA) — Shlomo Glickstein,
Israel's top ranked tennis
player, defeated Dick
Stockton to capture the
final of the $125,000
Mutual Benefit Life Open,
6-3, 5-7, 6-4 on Sunday. The
victory gave Glickstein the
richest prize of his career, a
check for $15,000. Stockton
took home $7,500.
Glickstein, 23, was fourth
seeded in the tournament.
