Federation of Jewish Men's
Clubs, Inc., 51st annual in-
ternational convention at
Grossinger's earlier this
month.
Delegates to the conven-
tion, whose theme was
"Man in Search of God,"
Were: Dr. Bertrand Jacobs,
Dr. Abner Ragins, Dr. Davis
Benson, Ernest Kline, Dr.
Louis L. Kazdan, Maurice
Reistman, Marlene Silver-
man, Herman Ozrovitz, Sy
Finkelstein, Dr. Mort
Demak and Ronald Lippa.
Highlight of the conven-
tion was the presentation of
the National Federation
Distinguished Service
Award to Simon Wiesent-
hal, head of the Jewish
Documentation Center "for
his meritorious contribu-
tion to Jewry and his dedi-
cation to justice, for his con-
cern for the welfare of his
fellow man and for his ef-
forts to awaken the con-
science of the world."

Dr. Dan Wiener, a
graduate of the Technion,
has served recently as head
of project management for
the exploratory committee
studying the feasibility of
setting up a hydroelectric
canal from the Dead Sea to
the Mediterranean.
