Flint News

Flint Federation
Plans a Picnic

Meadow Brook
Trip Is Planned

Flint Jewish Federation
will have a community pic-
nic 3 p.m. Sunday at Flush-
ing Park-McKinley Road,
pavillion 4.
Participants are re-
quested to bring a pareve
dish to pass: A-G, dessert;
H-P, vegetable; and R-Z,
salad.
Hotdogs, buns and re-
lishes will be provided.
There is a nominal charge.
In case of rain the picnic will
be held Aug. 23.
For details, call the Flint
federation, 767-5922.

The Flint Jewish Federa-
tion has planned a trip to
the Meadow Brook Music
Festival to hear the
Preservation Hall Jazz
Band July 26, meeting at
Flint's Temple Beth El at 5
p.m.
There is a charge. Par-
