Club North will go full
swing.
Bud's track record in the
restaurant business is an
enviable one . . . and he
holds a very knowledgeable
reputation as one of the best
in his business.
The Standard Club North
couldn't have done much
better in their managerial
selection.
THE
HORS
D'OEUVRES were excel-
lent . . . the wine beautiful
. . . and the last place you
would expect to see them .. .
But Joe Beato, president of
the Chef 200 Club is execu-
tive chef of Henry Ford
Hospital . . . and his deci-
sion to use the staff dining
room was a good one .. .

joined by an auditorium
with screen.

the Great Kettle Race spon-
sored by Chef 200 Club as a
benefit for the March of Di-
mes, 3 p.m. Sept. 12 at

football field.
Trophies go to the win-
ning kettle, the most crea-
tive kettle and the greatest
fund-raiser.
It will be an annual event
. . . in which various dining
establishments participate
. . . Entry pays a $20
entrance fee and is given a
block of tickets to sell .. .
The $5 tickets include ad-
mission and refreshments
.. Goal is $10,000 for
M
. arch of Dimes.
It is recommended that
each team wear identifying
outfits, such as tee-shirts
with the restaurant's name.
The soup kettles that par-
ticipants will build must
have one axle with two
wheels only . . . each four-
foot minimum and a single
handle . . . Two to four
people can pull the kettle
with one driver.
Last year the Chef 200
Club sponsored the much
publicized Bathtub Race.
