JERUSALEM (JNI) —
Jerusalem's-elderly citizens
have been linked to a radio
alarm network to bring
police aid in the event of a
burglary. A similar system
provides medical assistance
to invalids in the city.
Organized by the
Jerusalem Civil Guard and
the Volunteer Association,
the new network consists of
a beeper which sets off an
alarm at district police
headquarters. Some 30 per-
sons are presently linked to
the medical-emergency
alarm system. When the
patients feel a seizure they
push a beeper which signals
a Magen David Adom first
aid station.

Historian Sues
Over Claims
on Holocaust

LONDON' — Leon
Poliakov, author of the book
"The History of Anti-
Semitism," began a libel
suit in a Paris court this
month against Prof. Robert
Faurisson of Lyon Univer-
sity. Prof. Faurisson ac-
cused Poliakov of "fabricat-
ing and manipulating
documents" for use in his
book.
Prof. Faurisson, who
claims that the mass exter-
mination of the Jews in the
Nazi camps was an inven-
tion of Jewish propaganda
leveled the charges at
Poliakov in his book,
"Treatise in Defense
Against Those Who Accuse
Me of Falsifying History."
