THE JEWISH SING-
LES (21-35) will have a
"picnic in the park" 7 p.m.
Saturday at Oak Park
Major Park. In case of rain,
the event will be held at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the Jewish Com-
munity Center.
A few tickets are still
available to see "Bye Bye
Birdie" Sunday at the Star
Theater in Flint. The group
will leave the Morris
Branch at 12:30 p.m.
Dinner will follow at the
Pointe Barbeque.
The group will go to the
International Freedom Fes-
tival Tuesday, leaving from
the Morris Branch at 6 p.m.
Pdrticipants are requested
to bring their own drinks,
blankets and chairs. The
group will meet for dinner
in Windsor afterward.
The Jewish Singles will
have a dance party 8:30
p.m. July 12 at the Steak
and Ale, Farmington
Hills. A disc jockey will
provide music and a cash
bar and refreshments
will be available. There is
a charge.
Volleyball is held 8:30
p.m. Mondays at the Morris
Branch. There is a nominal
charge. Softball, is held
10:30 a.m. Sundays at
Cranbrook Park, South-
field. Admission is free.
