browned. Mix in tomatoes and
1/4 cup of wine. Return chicken
to pan and bring liquid to a
boil. Reduce heat, cover and
simmer 30 minutes, or until
chicken is tender.
Remove chicken to a hot
platter. Blend together flour
and remaining 1/4 cup wine; stir
into liquid in skillet. Simmer 1
minute. Pour sauce over chic-
ken and garnish with chopped
parsley to serve. Makes 4 serv-
ings. Sodium: 20 MG. per serv-
ing.

Curried Lamb

2 tbsps-fleischmann's Un-
salted Margarine
2 lbs. lean lamb, cut into 1 1/2-
inch cubes
1 cup of chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsps. curry powder
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 large tart apple, peeled,
cored and diced
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. water
4 cups unsalted hot cooked
rice
Melt margarine in large skil-
let or' large heavy saucepan
over medium heat; add lamb
cubes, about 1/3 at a time,
browning on all sides. Remove
meat from skillet and set aside.
Add onion and garlic to skillet;
saute until tender. Return Iamb
to pan and mix in 2 cups of
water, bouillon, curry powder
and pepper; bring to a boll.
Reduce heat, cover and sim-
mer 40 minutes, or until lamb
is tender. Stir in apple and
cook 5 minutes longer.
Blend together flour and 1
tbsp. water; stir into liquid in
skillet. Cook and stir mixture
over medium heat until thic-
kened. Serve over hot rice. If
desired, curry can be served
with Planters Dry Roasted Un-
salted Peanuts, chutney and
raisins. Makes 8 servings.
Sodium: 90 MG. per serving.
