He was a 1940 graduate of Central High School and attended Wayne University for a short time. One of his most recent films was the television mini-series, "Masada." Grossman, an official with the U.S. De- partment of Agriculture for nearly 40 years, died June 21 at age 85. Born in New York, Dr. Grossman came to Detroit 60 years ago. He retired 30 years ago. He had served with the Bureau of Animal Industry-Meat Inspection. Dr. Grossman was graduated from Ohio State University in 1917. He is survived by his wife, Laura; three sons, Samuel, Joseph and Daniel; three daughters,. Mrs. Harold (Evelyn).Cantor, Mrs. Louis (Rose) Rosenfeld and Mrs. Paul F. Dr. Azmon, - MDA Official New Officers and ASSOCIATES TEL AVIV (JTA) — Yit- zhak Zuckerman, one of the leaders of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising 38 years ago and a founder-member of Kibutz Lohamei Hagetatot, died last week. He was 66. Better known by his un- derground fighter name of "Antek," he took over com- mand of the ghetto fighters and managed to escape with a handful of survivors to continue their fight against the Nazis in the forests. After the war he helped run the underground net- work that transported Jewish survivors to the Mediterranean coast, where they boarded ships for pre= state Israel, in most cases illegally. Mr. Zuckerman dedi- cated himself to the de- velopment and operation of a documentation cen- ter on the Holocaust and Jewish resistance con- taining exhibitions relat- ing to Nazi oppression, the Warsaw Ghetto upris- ing and concentration camps.
