The
Foundation, Inc., honored
Dr. Ralph Cash, chairman
of pediatrics at Sinai Hospi-
tal of Detroit, at the organ-
ization's annual dinner-
dance held recently at the
Plaza Hotel in New York
City.
Dr. Cash, who is one of the
founders of the Michigan
Chapter of the
Dysautonomia Foundation
and a member of the found-
ation's board of directors,
was chosen as the 1981 Na-
tional Honoree of the foun-
dation. Dr. Cash has served
as a member of the organ-
ization's national medical
advisory board since 1974.
Dr. Cash earned his med-
ical degree from the Uni-
versity of Pennsylvania's
School of Medicine in 1956
and completed his intern-
ship program at Sinai Hos-
pital. He has been an active
member of Sinai's staff ever
since, being appointed to his
present position in 1970.
He serves as associate
professor of pediatrics at
Wayne State University's
School of Medicine and is a
former instructor for WSU's
graduate School of Social
Work.
