East Lansing was among 12
cantors honored by The
Jewish Theological Semi-
nary of America at a recent
academic convocation.

Former Detroiters Mr.
and Mrs. Albert (Ann) Oz-
rovitz of North Miami, Fla.,
are marking their 55th
wedding anniversary this
month.
The couple will be hon-
ored at a party given by
their children, Mr. and Mrs.

Herman Ozrovitz of Oak
Park and Mr. and Mrs.
Philip Ozrovitz of South-
field. The senior Ozrovitzes
have six grandchildren. and
one great-granddaughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Ozrovitz
were married at the Ban-
croft synagogue in Toledo,
Ohio, on June 20, 1926.
They moved to Detroit in
1936, where they resided
until 1972 when they re-
tired to North Miami.
