Emphasis on the unified activities of the Orthodox community of Metropolitan Detroit was in evidence at
the 52nd annual dinner of the Vaad Harabonim, the Council of Orthodox Rabbis. The record attendance of 650
at the dinner had added significance in the presence on the dais of 19 of the local rabbis. In attendance, from

CANTOR HYMAN ADLER
Solomon Rivlin and was the

Choir. He later studied at
the Jerusalem Conservat-
ory of Music and studied
under Prof. Rosowski.
He came to the United
States at age 17 and sang
at many synagogues in
the East. An early posi-
tion was at the Genesis
