Give Your Windows The Works Holocaust Event Aired Channel 56 will broad- cast the final ceremonies of the World Gathering of Holocaust Survivors at the Western Wall in Jerusalem 1 p.m. Thursday. Titled "Holocaust: The Survivors Gather — The Final Day," the 90-minute program will feature a candlelight march by sur- vivors through the streets of the Old City of Jerusalem, the passing of the "legacy" of the Holocaust from the survivor genefation to their children and an address by Israel Prime Minister Menahem Begin. The program's anchor- man will be former CBS correspondent David Schoenbrun. Three Campus Hillels Receive Haber Awards WASHINGTON — The Bnai Brith Hillel Founda- tion cited three campus Hillel organizations — the University of Cincinnati, Princeton University and Ohio State University — with the 1981 William Haber Award for outstand- ing programs and activities during the past school year. The students at Cincin- nati were selected for their "Fast for Freedom," aimed at showing the city's con- cern and support for the 52 American hostages held for 444 days in Iran. The Hillel Foundation at Princeton won with the outreach pro- gram for Jewish freshmen on the school's campus and Ohio State's winning pro- gram paired students with families of Russian Jewish immigrants. The Haber award is named for Dr. William Haber, former dean of eco- nomics at the University of Michigan. 00 DO _Do *It 1.‘k MICKEY FREEMAN Honored at the event will be Milton M. Weinstein, long-time leader in local and national Bnai Brith ac- tivities and recipient-elect of Israel Bonds' `-`City of Peace" Award. Dinner co- chairmen are Ralph Miller and Nathan D. Rubenstein. Freeman was Private Zimmerman in the "Sergeant Bilko" television series. He also wrote for the TV series "McHale's Navy," and has appeared in many TV commercials.
